Weekend Whipper: Ice Climbing Leader FallBy Rock and Ice | September 4th, 2015
On the fourth pitch of Jukulkula (WI4) in Norway, Tore Helgedagsrud found a “relatively good ledge” to rig a belay. He put his ice axes aside to buzz in a screw with both hands. He almost had it in too. “I was never expecting to slip,” he wrote in the video description. “Luckily I came from it undamaged.”
Stay safe out there and get psyched for ice season!
