VIDEO: Adam Ondra and Stefano Ghisolfi Send New 5.15b’sIn the heat of the World Cup season, Stefano Ghisolfi and Adam Ondra have established two new 5.15b routes—setting new standards in difficulty for Italy and France.
Stefano Ghisolfi and Adam Ondra have established two new 5.15b routes in the heat of the World Cup season. Ghisolfi claimed the first ascent of Lapsus, a link-up of Noia (8c+) and Anaconda (8c) in Andonno, constituting both Ghisolfi’s first 5.15b and the first route of its grade in Italy.
Ondra redpointed C.R.S. in Mollans, France, for the first ascent of the Sebastian Bouin route. Ondra considers C.R.S. France’s hardest line to-date.
[Note: The video says Ondra took five days to complete C.R.S., but his report on 8a.nu states it took him only three days to redpoint.]
