According to his 8a.nu scorecard, Spray of Light is Woods’ 20th V15 and his 11th first ascent at the grade.
Woods is no Rocklands stranger, having sent Monkey Wedding (V15) in 2013 [WATCH: Daniel Woods Repeating Monkey Wedding (V15)] and eight V14s, including classics Golden Shadow, Speed of Sound and Oliphant’s Dawn, since 2008. He has also claimed two V14 first ascents, Sky and Derailed, in Rocklands, as well as two V13 FAs, Fragile Steps and El Corazon.
