Weekend Whipper: How to Spot a Bad Spotter

What happens when you have a bad spotter on a semi-highball V9? You land directly on the rocks if you slip. In this video, taken at Great Barrington, MA on a V9 called Filter, the dangers of losing your focus as a spotter is clearly apparent when a climber pitches off a tall boulder, misses his bouldering pad (and spotter), and lands directly on the ground.
