Paige Claassen Sending Rolihlahla (5.13d) in South AfricaBy Rock and Ice | August 12th, 2013
Paige Claassen makes the fourth ascent of Rolihlahla (5.13d) in Boven, South Africa. This route was first climbed by Sasha Digiulian, the American climber who just won the Psciobloc Masters Series event in Park City, Utah. Interestingly, Digiulian originally suggested 5.14c for Rolihlahla but repeaters have suggested a considerably lower grade. Claassen visited South Africa as part of the Marmot Lead Now Tour in which she hopes to raise money through climbing by visiting 12 countries in 12 months and working with local charities.
