In the dark depths of the Black Canyon in Gunnison National Park, Colorado, La Sportiva climber, Joe Mills, attempts to establish a new line.

The New Black Project (5.14), would be 13-15 pitches and 1,500 feet tall. He spotted this line while freeing The Hallucinogen Wall, a notorious aid route in the Black Canyon. Mills was the second person to free The Hallucinogen Wall at 5.13 R.

Mills teams up with Jesse Zacher, to attempt this new route. They battle a 40-foot, 5.14 roof, along with staying true to the ethics in the Black. Watch this video to see if they send.
