Internship Opportunities

WANT PUBLISHING EXPERIENCE?

Rock and Ice and Trail Runner offer internship opportunities. Now is your chance to roll up your sleeves and get dirty in print and online!

Both magazines offer internships in editorial and advertising throughout the year. Dates are roughly seasonal, typically with spring, summer, fall and winter internships of about three months each. Internships are unpaid, but interns typically receive college credit and earn valuable experience and credentials for their resumes. Dates and hours are flexible, but we ask that interns work 20-30 hours a week. Internships take place in Carbondale, Colorado. Supplemental paying work in the area is usually feasible and not difficult to find, but housing can be an issue. Look for housing ahead of time! Please bring a laptop.
